By accessing or using Mammath.study (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.


1. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful, educational purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Continued use indicates acceptance of any updated Terms.


2. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service, including quizzes, interface elements, or underlying code.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to access the source code.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features.
  • Use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) without written permission.
  • Use the Service to cheat, manipulate results, or undermine academic integrity.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe these rules have been violated.


3. Accounts

Teacher accounts require an email address. The email provided will be used only for:

  • Essential communications (e.g., changes to these Terms, significant service announcements), or
  • Optional updates that you explicitly opt in to (e.g., blog posts, feature releases).

Students do not have accounts with the Service. They access the Service via an alias and PIN code. Teachers are responsible for creating and managing student aliases, which are restricted to a maximum of three characters. Student users should not be directly identifiable beyond the scope of the classroom.


4. Data Privacy and Identifiability

The Service is intentionally designed to avoid collecting personally identifiable information (PII) from students.

  • Students are represented only through teacher-assigned aliases limited to three characters.
  • Teachers are responsible for ensuring that chosen aliases do not identify students.

We take appropriate steps to safeguard data; however, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

5. User Responsibility

It is your responsibility to ensure that the Service complies with any requirements, policies, or privacy rules set by your school or institution.

6. Service Availability

We take reasonable steps to maintain uptime and ensure reliability. However:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

7. Data Storage and Export

The Service is not intended for long-term data storage.

We provide tools for exporting relevant data (e.g., assessment results) so you can store it within your own institutional systems. Users are responsible for performing exports and retaining their own records. please contact us and include your contact information.


8. Intellectual Property

All content, code, quizzes, design elements, and materials on the Service are owned by Mammath.study or its licensors. No rights are granted to copy, reuse, or redistribute these materials except as required for normal use of the Service.


9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • You breach these Terms,
  • You misuse the Service, or
  • Continued use poses a security, operational, or legal risk.

Upon termination, access to the Service will cease. Users are responsible for exporting any data beforehand.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
  • We are not liable for any loss arising from interruptions, data loss, misuse, or reliance on the Service.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid to us in the preceding 12 months (if any).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated to account holders using their registered email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
